Create a password

1. 1. For your product device number, push the Menu button on your NavGate. Go to Settings → Hardware → Service Info.
   
   
2. 2. For your disc media number, look on the media card included with the disc. Keep your media number - you will need it if you ever go to an Authorised Service Centre.
   
   
3. 3. Enter both into the fields above and hit Create your Password.
   
   

Authenticate and install

Insert the disc into your NavGate and type your Password when prompted.

Attention

Once it begins updating, please do not interrupt the device.

The update will take more than 2 hours.

The ignition may be switched off during update - updating will resume automatically when the ignition is turned back on.

Install SD card #1 and create a password

1. 1. Turn off the vehicle engine to terminate the system.
   
   
2. 2. Insert SD memory card #1 into the SD slot on your navigation system and start your engine to boot up the system.
   
   
3. 3. Installation will start. Once the installation is complete, the navigation system will restart.
   
   
4. 4. Insert SD memory card #2 into the SD slot on your navigation system.
   
   
5. 5. It will display the product device number. Please write it down on the supplied media card. Keep this card - you will need your media number if you ever go to an Authorised Service Centre.
   
   
6. 6. When the system asks for a password, press "Cancel" and turn off the navigation system.
   
   
7. 7. Enter device number and media number into the fields above and hit Create your Password.
   
   

Authenticate and install SD card #2

1. 8. Turn on the engine to start up the navigation system.
   
   
2. 9. When prompted for a password, press OK.
   
   
3. 10. Input your password and press "Done".
   
   

Attention

It is crucial that you do not interrupt the process when the device displays “The program is being updated. Do not turn power off”.

Upgrade may take approx. 40 minutes.
